Metal Finishing
Wastewater treatment in the metal finishing industry is varied and complex. Wastewater is generated in this application via plating, deburring, stamping, die casts, machine shops, polishing, rinse tanks, spent coolants, floor scrubbers, mop buckets, parts washers, etc. Water Maze is ideally suited for addressing the needs of this industry because of its broad range of water treatment technologies and systems.

Problem:
Metal finishing wastewater includes metals, emulsified oils, water-soluable coolants, solids, VOC’s, etc.—all very difficult to treat with conventional filtration systems.

Water Maze offers customized systems for each of these waste streams such as an EC electrocogagulation system for treating metals, oils and solids removal; pH Permissive system and Alpha oil-water separator for pre-treatment of the waste stream; and HBG and WB wastewater evaporators for eliminating the excess wastewater so only the 10% residue must be disposed of.
