Marina and Shipping Industry

The marina, boat and shipping industry generates a lot of wastewater from cleaning operations on the boats as well as in boatyards, slips and shipyards.

• Problem: Wastewater generated in this application is loaded with metals (particularly copper from anti-fouling paints), oils, grease and organics. Waste streams in this industry also will include bilge water and deck runoff.
  
  
• Water Maze offers two systems to address the specific needs of marinas and shipping. Both the Water Maze CLB bioremediation system and the EC electrocoagulation system will treat the wastewater so it can be recycled to a pressure washer. The Water Maze evaporators are ideally suited for eliminating excess water commonly found in this application. Water Maze engineers also have developed a variety of wash pad designs ideal for this application.
